Where does Jam Wizard ingredients come from?
Answer: We get this question alot so we made a short video highlighting some of our favorite suppliers. Before we get to the video, we wanted to give you more background.
We always try our best to go directly to the Utah farmer that we want to get ingredients from. We thoroughly research the farmers practices and ensure they comply with the latest best practices for sustainability, good animal husbandry, and using the most modern farming techniques.
We also want to build positive long term relationships with farmers too. It's not purely a transactional relationship for us. We want a deeper understanding of each other that goes long after the jam is made. This goal of relationship building helps us build trust and rapport and carries into how we treat others through servant leadership.
At the end of the day, our family eats the same jams and jellies we sell to you. We need to know that if a jam we make it good enough for our family, then you might enjoy it too. We want to feel good about who we work with which is why we made this video.

Sometimes it is hard though to find certain types of ingredients. Citrus fruits in particular do not grow well in Utah - including lemons and oranges. As you can understand, that means finding farmers outside the state of Utah. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate either.
