We offer convenience for you to set it and forget it scheduling which allows deliveries to arrive automatically, with a variety of intervals to fit your needs (1 to 6 months) You are in control to choose which jams you want to stock up on OR allow the wizard to send you random selections. BEST OF ALL: All monthly jam subscriptions may include from time to time – sneak peak taste tests of unreleased jams!!! We want your wizard feedback on our newest jams or jellies prior to their release. You may be the wizard who gets to experience our newest flavors before anyone else! This will help you see how the jam wizard evolution first hand as it goes from our test kitchen to final retail release. Jam Wizard Owner and Founder Karan Heffelfinger is a 4th generation jam & jelly alchemist whose origin story was forged in the fires of many lands. She proudly lives in Eagle Mountain where she volunteers with the Senior Center and Chamber of Commerce. Karan’s tale is woven through both time and geography. Karan studied under the old world jam masters in the coal regions of Pennsylvania in the 1960s. While living there, she learned the secrets of immigrant jams and jellies developed in the old world and brought to the states. For a time in the 1970s, she lived in the tropical realms of Panama where she learned South American culinary arts using Calafate, rhubarb, coconut, dragon fruit, and red currants. She leveled up her knowledge developing jams with rich flavors and exceptional nutritional qualities. Most recently, she lived in the arid plains of West Texas near Fort Stockton. This land is known for their flavorful watermelon and cantaloupe jams and jellies. Her magical credentials include Texas A&M University Cooperative Extension as well as Family and Consumer Sciences at the High School level. Her scrolls of wisdom include Associate, Bachelor and Masters degrees. Interestingly, she is a graduate of the Wilson Cake Decorating School. Jam magic runs in her veins.

The name is a play on the ""violent collision"" of flavors and textures packed into one jar. It represents a mashup of Raspberries, Oranges, Apples, and Dates (R.O.A.D.) flattened into a delicious spread. It’s designed to look messy and chunky—like a ""beautiful wreck""—but tastes like a joyride. The idea was inspired by our travels around the western USA which is unfortunately (well you know) covered in road kill.

We hand craft Secret Garden Jam in Eagle Mountain, Utah. This is a seasonal jam made in small batches in limited quantities. We source our raspberries and green tomatoes from Utah Farmers. Sometimes the unpredictable Utah weather does not cooperate. Our goal is to bring the flavor of the Wasatch Front garden directly to your pantry. This jam is not made in a factory. It takes our Jam Wizard some time to grow the tomatoes in her garden and then prepare the right flavor consistently. When you see it for sale, act quickly because once its sold out for the year, its gone until next season.
